My Philosophy

Nikki and Baby Mae

Baby Mae

What I offer is a partnership. I truly care about the women I work with and see myself as a resource, an advocate, and a steady presence throughout your life. I bring my expertise, but also my deep belief that your body isn’t a problem to fix. You are not a problem to fix. My role is to support you in feeling more at ease, more at home in yourself. There’s no pressure here to be perfect, do more, or get it right. Often it’s softening that creates the most relief. This is a space for gentleness and honesty- where healing happens on your terms, and life gets to feel easier.

My ultimate goal is to provide you with a relationship of care that will stand behind you in what ever you need to be resourced, autonomous, and free to thrive.

My History

My path to Chinese medicine was shaped by both curiosity and my health. After earning a degree in Pre-Medicine, I worked at All Women’s Health Services, a women’s clinic in Eugene, Oregon. I was initially drawn to study naturopathic medicine, but after experiencing the immediate and lasting effects of acupuncture for myself, I knew I’d found something almost magical.

I earned my Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. In 2006, I traveled to China for advanced training in holistic gynecology at Zhe Jiang University. Later, I completed a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine, with a focus in women’s health and pain management. My capstone project- centered on insufficient lactation- included collaboration with respected practitioners Raven Lang and Claudia Citkowitz.

Rooted in classical Chinese medicine and shaped by more than 20 years of clinical experience, my work focuses on the full arc of women’s health and women’s bodies. I use acupuncture, herbal medicine, and advanced functional medicine training to craft individualized treatment plans that support long-term health and meaningful outcomes.

My approach is practical, deeply informed, and centered on you. I’m here to listen, to guide, and to walk alongside you.
